Oxygen Bar FAQ

What is an oxygen bar?

Oxygen bar is a free-standing bar which people sit to breathe over 90% pure oxygen and aromatherapy from a disposable nasal cannula (nose hose). Our oxygen is produced by an oxygen concentrator (generator) which take the ambient air that we breathe everyday and separates the nitrogen from this ambient air with a molecular filter.

How long does the session last?

For optimum benefits, a session should last from 10 to 15 minutes.

What are the benefits of the oxygen bar?

Oxygen has long been known to help thin the blood, increase circulation and speed up your metabolism, increases athlete’s performance, endurance, and energy level, has been known to displace harmful free radicals, neutralize environmental toxins, and destroy anaerobic infectious bacteria, parasites and microbes. Oxygen gives the body the ability to rebuild itself, detoxify blood, and strengthen the immune system. Just a ten-minute breathing session of pure oxygen heightens concentration and alertness. Oxygen has also been known to help in the prevention of disease, relieve hangovers, and alleviate migraine headaches.

How does it make you feel?

Breathing higher concentrations of oxygen has several benefits; the most commonly reported benefits are increased energy, an uplifted refreshed feeling, clearing of the mind, relief of toxic headaches such as the hangover, relief of stress and promotion of higher concentration levels. Oxygen is also a proven detoxifier and has anti-aging properties.

Is breathing oxygen in an oxygen bar harmful?

There are no risks and no adverse effects with the short-term use of oxygen. The American Lung Association has said that breathing oxygen from an oxygen bar for less than 30 minutes (one oxygen bar session) has no harmful effects and there is no evidence that oxygen used in bars can be dangerous to a normal person's health. Oxygen bars are not intended to treat, cure, prevent or diagnose any illness or disease.
